• Domains under .QA are registered immediately after payment. For other domains requiring eligibility criteria, after ROUTEDGE domain authorities receive your request, the domain name and supporting documents will be verified to ensure all policy requirements are met.
• You can check your status by confirming the details sent to the contact email associated with the domain name account.

A domain name can have a maximum of 67 characters, including the extension (TLD) (.qa, .com.qa, .net.qa). The domain name can contain numbers from 0 to 9, letters from a to z, or hyphens (-). Domain names are not case-sensitive, meaning myDomain.com.qa and MyDomain.com.qa are considered the same. The domain name cannot start or end with a hyphen (-).

These domains are intended for companies based in Qatar or those with a registered trademark in Qatar.

We require

A copy of the company's commercial registration and a domain registration request letter signed and stamped by the concerned authority, along with the company's ID card to verify the signature.

For new companies: In addition to the commercial registration copy, a signed letter from the authorized signatory mentioned in the commercial registration copy along with a Qatari ID card is sufficient.

These domains are intended for companies involved in IT/telecommunications/network sectors in Qatar or those with a registered trademark in Qatar.

According to the latest CRA/QDR policies, all .COM.QA domains must be hosted locally in Qatar.

Currently, there are no hosting restrictions for .QA domains.

Not fully. Information about the registrar and technical details are partially displayed according to Qatar's policies to allow quick resolution of technical issues and to enable the enforcement of consumer protection and trademark laws. This information is publicly available through the WHOIS service provided by CRA/QDR.

You can choose an alternative domain name, or the same name with a different extension. For example, if myDomain.com.qa is unavailable, you can register myDomain.qa if available or use My-domain.com.qa.

.QA domains are registered immediately after payment. Once completed requests with documents and payment for other domains are received, the registration process takes from 30 minutes to 24 hours. The customer can check the status in the account created on www.w3infotech.com, and a confirmation email is sent to the account holder's email address.

Advanced DNS services are required to direct your domain to web hosting, email services, or subdomains to different hosting servers.

The advanced DNS service is an optional service provided by ROUTEDGE for a nominal fee using professional nameservers.

Log in to WWW.W3INFOTECH.COM and click the renewal button from the Domains and Services tab, then pay online or choose other payment methods and contact the support team to complete the renewal.

You can update the nameservers, DNS records, or contact names for administration, billing, or technical, as well as update the registrar's address, email, phone number, and fax number at any time by emailing support@routedge.qa or through a support ticket.

Log in to www.w3infotech.com and click the renewal button from the Domains and Services tab, then pay online or choose other payment methods and contact the support team to complete the renewal.

If you cancel within 24-48 hours of registration, we can cancel the domain and refund the registration fee in full after deducting cancellation fees and credit card/bank processing fees, if applicable. If you want to cancel the domain after 48 hours of registration, it can be canceled with no refund.

Log in to www.w3infotech.com and click on the desired domain name, then choose the nameservers/DNS Records tab to update the details. Alternatively, you can open a ticket or email support@routedge.qa at any time.

Once the information is changed, we send the request to QDR, and within a few minutes, the changes are available.

You need to set the 'A' record of the new site to the same IP address as the current site. Either send a request to your current hosting company to point the new domain to the current site or you can do it yourself from your hosting control panel. If we designed and hosted your site, we can handle all of this for you. Register a new domain and point it to your existing site now.

Unfortunately, once a domain name is registered, it can only be deleted and a new domain created within 24-48 hours, including correcting any typos. Alternatively, you can register the correct domain name and redirect the wrong one to the correct one. This will allow your customers to find you even if they make the same mistake. Look for variations of your site name and register multiple domains in a few simple steps.

Unlike some registrars, when you register your domain with us, the registrant you entered in the order form is considered the legal owner of the domain name for the entire duration of the current registration. We have no interest in owning your domain(s). If we wanted it, we would have already registered it!

Domain registration is simply a service to reserve the name, and you don’t need to do anything with your domain. You may just want to reserve it, or forward email through it, or create a website. It’s entirely up to you. If you choose to develop a website, we can provide high-quality website design services for a reasonable fee.

A registrar transfer is the process of moving a domain name from one domain registrar to another. For example, you may want to transfer your domain from your current registrar to our company to benefit from bulk registration and renewal rates, or for our technical support or domain services. The registrar transfer service is performed by registries and is available to all domain registrars to enhance competition and improve services for the broader online community. Please note that transferring your domain to our company will not affect your DNS, email, or registrar information associated with your domain. You can modify these areas after your domain is successfully transferred. Transfer and renew your site now.

Domain transfer is free, and you only pay for domain renewal.

Domain transfer takes 3 days if you don’t manually approve it from your current registrar, and there will be no service disruption during the transfer period.

No, you can only transfer the domain to CRA/QDR accredited registrars.

You can change hosting to an international hosting provider by changing the domain's nameservers, except for .COM.QA domains.

You will not be charged for the remaining duration. Please note that .QA registrars can be changed between a few CRA/QDR accredited international and local registrars, but .COM.QA can be changed between registrars authorized to register domain extensions within Qatar.
